I do see the effort he is putting in… should I go for it?

I went on a few dates with a guy last year and I was hoping it would lead to a relationship but we stopped talking kinda outta nowhere.. he just didn’t seem interested so i didn’t wanna chase him. Last week, he started texting me and he even left flowers, teddy bear and letter at my doorstep. He explained in the letter that he was still trying to figure things out with his EX. I do see the effort he is putting in.. should I go for it?
