Although they are currently working from home and aren’t inviting artists to their office, NPR is still going hard with their Tiny Desk (home) concerts.
Following recent performances from Benny the Butcher, D Smoke, John Legend, and Conway the Machine (who took up shop at NYC’s Sweet Chick), Oddisee has returned with his own at-home performance.
Sticking with his recent Odd Cure project, a “record [he] didn’t want to write but needed to” while in self-isolation between March and May, the DIY talent called up his Good Company bandmates (for the first time since the pandemic cancelled their spring tour) and proceeded to treat Assorted Studios like his personal studio as they delivered a relevant and inspiring set that addressed the uncertainty and anxiety we all live in today.
Check out the performance (as well as his 2015 set) below.
