On Friday (October 16), Open Mike Eagle will release his new project Anime, Trauma and Divorce. The follow-up to 2017’s Brick Body Kids Still Daydream, the forthcoming project may be OME’s most personal works to date as it is to “chronicle the worst year of his life so far.”

Following the first single “Bucciarati,” OME has revealed a video for the opening track “Death Parade.” “This song is about the cycle of trauma,” Mike says, “the personal trauma thats been a throughline in my life and how traumatized people tend to inflict more trauma on themselves and others.”
