…just play your own music. Like, don’t follow the the genre thing that everyone’s entitled to. It doesn’t really matter anymore…it’s all about feel. That’s what the kids love. And, that’s what’s gonna kick all the mainstream people out. I’ve noticed Drake. He’s doing his own sound. And Kanye West is doing his own sound. And they’re moving towards the independent route. So the whole thing about making a hit record and signing to a label is just broken. You make more money and you’re more free. You have more freedom.
