So… this is happening.

So, initially, T.I. was slated to do battle with Jeezy in the latest installment of the VERZUZ series. However, he received a bit of criticism for it, especially following a hypothetical session with Busta Rhymes initially proposed by Fat Joe.

All of it was silly, trust me.

Jeezy then revealed in a Hot 97 interview that he reached out to Gucci’s camp about doing a VERZUZ, but that he “respectfully declined.” However, Gucci said that he wouldn’t do a VERZUZ at all for less than a million dollars.

Guess that check cleared, because the Gooch revealed this on Instagram:

However, Gucci Mane just announced that he will be taking Tip’s place in the VERZUZ with Jeezy happening on November 19. This is… rather nuts to actually (possibly) see happen, as the two have had long-standing issues since falling out over “So Icy” that ultimately — and literally — turned murderous. However, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer were able to put their past differences aside for one… although, in their defense, their beef wasn’t anything like Jay and Radric’s.

Either way, November 19 should be interesting…
