Nick Cannon on Possibility of Future Children: ‘My Therapist Says I Should Be Celibate’

Nick Cannon may be slowing down on the babies—or not.

The father of seven, four of whom were born in the last year, caught up with Entertainment Tonight before the launch of his daytime talk show Nick Cannon to explain why the world has been seeing so many Cannons. He insisted he’s “not sitting out here planning it” even if it looks that way.

“My therapist says I should be celibate,” Cannon, 40, said with a big laugh. “You agree with the therapist? I’mma take a break from having kids.”

Asked how many babies “is enough,” he answered a little more seriously. “This is the thing…you can’t be like, ‘No, I’m done.’ Like, what if God says, ‘No, you not.’ I was always like, ‘Yo, I want a big family,’ too. So, you know, the lord has blessed me with what I asked.”
