Daniel Craig and James Corden Act Out 24 Famous Movies in 10 Minutes Including ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Fast & Furious’

Daniel Craig showcased his acting chops alongside James Corden on Thursday’s Late Late Show, where the pair recreated 24 iconic blockbuster scenes in a mere 10 minutes with cameos by two iconic screen legends.

From Jurassic Park to Indiana Jones, Speed, and even Casino Royale, Craig and Corden tumbled in and out of costumes and goofy effects as they recreated some classic cinema moments while trying not to lose their cool. Their lightning-fast imitations in the video above include Avengers: Infinity War, Grease, Fast & Furious (solely muttering the words “family” and “cars” in Vin Diesel-ish bald caps), The Exorcist, Gladiator, The Empire Strikes Back, The Dark Knight Rises, Avatar, Pulp Fiction (as Jon Travolta and Uma Thurman dancing), Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, The Lord of the Rings, and Dirty Dancing. Wonderfully enough, Craig managed to play the shark in Jaws, the decapitated horse head in The Godfather, and a near-death Leo DiCaprio in Titanic.

Craig and Corden started recreating a bit from Back to the Future at the 2:27 mark, only to get interrupted by a frustrated Christopher Lloyd. “If you’re gonna do an iconic scene from a famous movie, do it properly,” the 82-year-old Doc Brown actor exclaimed to roaring applause, leading to a minute-and-a-half-long segment that dwarfed the others in length. After a little protest from Corden, Craig signaled he should let the original Doc step behind the wheel and finish out the scene, which he did. Geena Davis also made a surprise appearance as Craig and Corden attempted to do the final scene from Thelma & Louise at the 6:40 mark. The British duo closed by quickly running through all of Craig’s 007 films, including No Time to Die, which hits theaters today.

Corden has done a similar bit before, tapping actors like Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Samuel L. Jackson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Tom Cruise to help him recreate their filmographies in a compressed time. 

On Thursday, Craig also alongside co-star Rami Malek, who plays the film’s villain Safin, to talk more about the movie. Despite the handful of delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, No Time to Die is already on pace to debut with $112.9 million at the international box office. Malek, who grew up in Los Angeles, recalled that he used to be a “hustler” who would slip his headshot into pizza boxes he would deliver and that he even delivered a few pies to George Clooney and Andy Garcia. Corden then pulled out the headshot in question, along with Daniel Craig’s first-ever headshot, which found him sporting a vintage jean jacket and bright blonde hair.

Craig later spoke on people’s initial criticism when he debuted as the new Bond back in 2006. Many were heavy critics of his age and blondeness, but when asked by Corden what advice he’d give to whoever’s next up for the role, Craig said it was important to just tune out all that noise. “You can only control the things you can control,” he said. “There’s nothing you can do. It’s sort of like major bullying…you gotta just block it out and get on with your business and do your job, do the best you can.” He added that before stepping into the shoes of 007 for Casino Royale, the previous Bond, Pierce Brosnan, had a few choice words for his successor. “He just said: ‘Just enjoy the ride. Just enjoy it,’ and, you know, I just started enjoying it about a year ago—that’s funny.”
