Balenciaga and ‘The Simpsons’ Team Up for New Collection

Balenciaga continues to turn The Simpsons into high-fashion symbols as the brand joins forces with the show to unveil a new capsule collection including hoodies, tees, and other accessories.

The partnership was first teased when the fashion house and iconic animated series teamed up to unveil Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection at Paris Fashion Week last week at the Théâtre du Châtelet. During the show, Balenciaga premiered a special 10-minute Simpsons episode that featured the characters wearing different pieces from their upcoming collection. Balenciaga’s creative director Demna Gvasalia also made a cameo. 

Before the screening for the episode, Cardi B arrived at the Balenciaga red carpet, as well as Offset, Lewis Hamilton, Juergen Teller, Isabelle Huppert, Naomi Campbell, and Elliot Page.

Capturing the same ethos of the special, the Balenciaga x The Simpsons capsule includes a series of graphic pieces that all include the main Simpsons cast—Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie—in different pieces from the brand. The graphic is printed on various items, from a bomber jacket to oversized hoodies, tee shirts coming in blue, yellow, black, and white, as well as caps, key chains, tote bags, and more.

The collection ranges from a high of $2,450 for the bomber jacket to a low of $260 for the keychains and other accessories. It’s available right now on the Balenciaga web store, and you can glimpse a few items below.
