Following the announcement of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s engagement, friends and family have congratulated the pair on the news.
The pair got engaged on Sunday in Montecito, California, with Barker popping the question on a beach surrounded by candles and roses. “Travis proposed to Kourtney and she said yes,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
Kourtney later seemingly confirmed the news with a photo of them together on Instagram alongside the caption, “Forever.” Travis answered “FOREVER” in the replies.
With the engagement now public, stars have started to share their reactions on social media. Kid Cudi, who has worked with Travis Barker a number of times before, offered his congratulations to the newly engaged couple in a simple tweet. “Congrats brother!!” he wrote. “Love u man!”
Sister Kim Kardashian was also among the first to offer her congratulations, sharing a video of the two making out alongside the caption, “KRAVIS FOREVER 💍.” Kendall and Kylie Jenner, meanwhile, shared a zoomed-in photo of Kourtney’s huge diamond ring on their Instagram Stories, while Khloé K threw some hearts in Kourt’s IG comments section.
Barker’s 15-year-old daughter Alabama Barker shared her thoughts in a Stories post, per E! Online. “So happy for you guys, I love u both,” she wrote.
Among those in the comments of Kourtney’s Instagram post also giving their congrats were Kris Jenner, Winnie Harlow, Addison Rae, Melissa Gorga, Sammi Sweetheart, and Christine Quinn. Celebrity Home Shopping host Samir comically noted that Travis “has to change his name to Kravis Karker now.”
Kardashian and the blink-182 drummer, who have been dating since December 2020, haven’t exactly been shy about public displays of affection. They also both made it clear early on that they were in it for the long haul. Back in April, Barker got a tattoo of Kourtney’s name on his chest, and just a month later she gave him an “I love you” tatt on his arm.
