A Newsmax reporter has been sidelined after making false and bizarre claims about the COVID-19 vaccines.

According to the New York Daily News, White House correspondent Emerald Robinson was pulled off the air just days after she tweeted a warning addressed to Christians: “… the vaccines contain a bioluminescent marker called LUCIFERASE so that you can be tracked,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet Monday. “Read the last book of the New Testament to see how this ends.”

Twitter reportedly removed the tweet shortly after it was posted, stating the message had violated its rules against COVID-19 misinformation.

Robinson made the claim in response to another user who said the COVID vaccines contained luciferase, an enzyme that is known to produce fireflies’ light. Many social media users have connected luciferase to “Lucifer,” suggesting it was further proof that the COVID jabs were signs of the end times, which is described in the Bible’s Book of Revelation.

According to a May 6 report from Reuters, experts used luciferase during the resarch phase for the Moderna vaccine; however, the enzyme is not present in the government-approved jabs.

Newsmax released a statement this week, saying Robinson will not appear on camera until further notice.

“Newsmax is currently reviewing the posts and during that period Ms. Robinson will not be on air but continue with duties for the network,” Michelle O’Halloran, a spokesperson for the company, said in a statement to the Daily News.

The outlet distanced itself from Robinson’s “bioluminescent marker” tweet just a day after it was posted, saying the Newsmax team “strongly believes and has reported that the Covid 19 vaccines are safe and effective.”

“We do not believe the vaccines contain any toxic materials or tracking markers, and such false claims have never been reported on Newsmax,” the statement continued. “The many medical experts appearing on Newsmax have supported the use of the vaccine.”

Robinson has been a vocal opponent of vaccine mandates and has propagated conspiracy theories about the so-called dangers of the vaccines.

Robinson has yet to publicly comment on Newsmax’s decision to pull her off the air.
