Power Book IV: Force is only a month away, and Starz is sharing an early look at what fans can expect from the upcoming series.

In the two-minute-long trailer, Joseph Sikora can be seen reprising his role as Tommy Egan, who, after the death of his friend Ghost and girlfriend LaKeisha, takes a dive into his past, leaves New York behind, and gets caught up in some trouble in Chicago’s drug game.

“New York is over…this my chance,” Tommy says in the new.

Tommy finds himself upsetting a crime family in the Chi, with a man named Walter Flynn telling him he’s made an “impression.” The clip later shows Tommy having issues with drug dealers, and Sikora shared with People that his character is “lost” in the series, knowing he can’t return to New York and having to start new.

“He lost his brother Ghost. He lost the woman he loves, Holly, and their unborn child. He lost Keisha. His mother is non-existent,” the actor said. “We’ve always seen Tommy with something. We’ve seen what he hates, but also what he loves—and he’s lost both. He’s lost any connection he’s had. Everybody [is] against him and he’s burned a lot of bridges. … I think the problem Tommy runs into is that Chicago looks and feels close enough to New York, and he thinks, ‘Oh, this will be easy.’ And it’s not that easy.”

Sikora also teased some “familiar faces” in the new edition of Power, executive produced by Courtney A. Kemp and 50 Cent, but “that doesn’t necessarily mean that the character is truly there or alive.” The cast includes Isaac Keys, Lili Simmons, Gabrielle Ryan, Shane Harper, Kris D. Lofton, Anthony Fleming III, Lucien Cambric, and Tommy Flanagan.
