Peacock’s dramatic reimagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is due out on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 13, and the latest teaser for the series reveals a spin on the original’s iconic basketball fight scene leading to Will moving to California.

The new Bel-Air teaser, which you can watch above, is appropriately set to Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” playing in the background as Will, played by Jabari Banks, plays ball in West Philadelphia before getting into a scuffle with others in the neighborhood. However, Bel-Air’s dramatization plays up the fact that Will could have died in this altercation, forcing his mother to get him out of the area and move in with his auntie and uncle in—well, you know the rest.

With “Dreams and Nightmares” still playing, the teaser reveals various scenes and main characters like Adrian Holmes as Uncle Phil, Cassandra Freeman as Aunt Viv, Coco Jones as Hillary Banks, and more. The clip also shows the moment Will and Jazz, played by Jordan L. Jones, first pull up on the Bel-Air mansion.

The first official trailer for Bel-Air dropped roughly two weeks ago and showcased how the Will Smith/Westbrook Studios-executive produced show differs from its sitcom source material. When Bel-Air’s director/co-writer/executive producer Morgan Cooper discussed her intentions, she explained how she wanted to create a show that was able to “stand on its own.”

“With this dramatic reimagining, we wanted to create a show that stands on its own while honoring the spirit and innovation of the original series,” Cooper said. “Because Bel-Air is a drama, we’re able to really peel back the layers of these characters and themes in a way that you simply couldn’t do 30 years ago in the half-hour sitcom format. We’re able to go have tough conversations that challenge perspectives. At its core, Bel-Air is a celebration of the Black experience through the perspective of a family.”

Watch the teaser for Peacock’s Bel-Air, premiering Feb. 13, up top.
