Google PlayFresh off calling out Kid Cudi over his friendship with Pete Davidson, the artist formerly known as Kanye West is sending more shots at his estranged wife Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend.
Ye took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of Kim and Davidson holding hands. West cropped the image so that it merely shows the comedian’s outfit, while referring to the SNL star as “Hilary Clinton’s ex boyfriend.”
“Look at this dickhead,” Kanye wrote. “I wonder if Instagram gonna shut down my page for dissing Hilary Clinton’s ex boyfriend.”
For context: As previously reported by CBS News, Davidson is a longtime fan of Clinton. Back in 2019, Pete revealed in a since-deleted Instagram post that he has an arm tattoo of Hilary, who he then referred to as his “bae.”
West followed that up with another post in which he attached a screenshot of some comments from his followers, who appear to agree with his take on Davidson’s outfit.
“Thank you to all my fans for having my back,” he wrote. “And you can google the Hilary thing. I’m not making this shit up.”
Kanye’s latest diss arrives just hours after he shared a handwritten note on Instagram detailing his decision to seemingly not include Cudi on Donda 2, citing his friendship with “you know who,” a.k.a. Pete Davidson.
“Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who,” Ye wrote. “We all speak in Billie language now.”
On Sunday, Kanye took to Instagram to provide an update on his fallout with Cudi, writing, “I’m very community oriented. I love my friends; I love my family. The reason I asked Cudi to at the least speak to Skete is because for years Cudi always made it seem like it was me and him against everyone. Now that I’m fighting for my family, he not by my side. This is bigger than music.”
In a subsequent post, West maintained that he still has love for Cudi, while implying that the Cleveland native is “not ready for the smoke” associated with being attached to Donda 2.
“I would have never asked for the loyalty if it was never offered,” Ye captioned a photo of Cudi. “I found a cool picture cause I love Cudi and always will. But Donda 2 is about running back in that burning house. I respect not everyone gonna be ready for the smoke.”
