Kanye West and Julia Fox Have Broken Up

JuliYe seems to be no more. 

A rep for Julia Fox has told E! News that she and Kanye West are no longer dating, explaining that they “remain good friends and collaborators but they are no longer together.” The Valentine’s Day statement was also obtained by Entertainment Tonight. 

Fox seemingly confirmed the reports on her Instagram Stories on Monday, when she shared that “the media would love to paint a picture of a sad lonely woman crying on a plane by myself but it’s NOT TRUE.”

“Why not see me for what I am which is a #1 hustler,” she wrote in a since-deleted post. “I came up yall lol and not only that but Kanye and I are on good terms! I have love for him but I wasn’t in love with the man Jesus Christ what do you think I am, 12 years old?!”

She continued, writing that fans who want the “full tea” will have to “buy the book when it comes out.”

The report comes after Fox took to Instagram earlier in the day to address headlines that she “tearfully” flew out of LAX alone, which she denied, claiming she was on a flight to see “the only men that matter” in her son and father. 

“If anything I’ve been laughing more than before and if I look like shit it’s cuz I got out at terminal 1 and ran on foot to terminal 7 cuz I was fkin late for a plane to go see the only men that matter which is my son and my dad,” Fox wrote.

Ye and Fox’s relationship was seemingly a short one, after the two first met at Ye’s “New Year’s Eve Block Party” in Miami, before reportedly going on a double date with N.O.R.E and his wife, Neri Santiago, the next day. Days later, the had their  first date night in NYC, when reports of them officially dating came to fruition. Then, on Jan. 6, came their Interview Magazine debut as a couple. 

“His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night,” Fox said at the time. “We decided to keep the energy going and fly back to New York City to see Slave Play. Ye’s flight landed at six and the play was at seven and he was there ON TIME. I was impressed. After the play we chose to do dinner at Carbone which is one of my favorite restaurants. Obviously.”

The next few weeks saw Fox agree to do more interviews and shoots for Interview Magazine with her new boyfriend, followed by an all-denim look in Paris for fashion week, and of course, the coining of their nickname JuliYe.
