When he released his self-titled 2021 album, Vince Staples frequently mentioned that it served as a precursor to his anticipated
Ramona Park Broke My Heart project. That album appears to be on the way, as the LBC hero has shared the first single from that project “Magic.”
Produced by Mustard, Staples says that Ramona will have a lighter disposition than his previous releases. “I think it’ll put the listener in a good state of mind,” he says. “The mood of it defines the project.”
