Cardi B is sharing her opinion on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

After a Twitter user wondered what Cardi thought of the ongoing crisis, and as Russia President Vladimir Putin ordered troops into Ukraine’s two pro-Russia breakaway regions, Cardi is opening up with caution.

“Wish these world leaders stop tripping about power and really think about whose really getting affected (citizens) besides the whole world is in a crisis,” she wrote. “War,sanctions, invasions should be the last thing these leaders should worry about.”

After her comment, another fan claimed Cardi wasn’t behind the above tweet, and she was quick to respond with a video message for her fans to make her point clear.

“This phone is not hacked, it’s really me,” she said. “I actually want to say a lot of things, but I’m just gonna mind my business because sometimes, I feel like I have such a big platform that if I don’t say the right things, I might get killed.”

Cardi then expanded on her opinion on world leaders at the moment, sharing that she wishes they’d come to a “logical conclusion.”

“I’m really not on NATO’s side, I’m really not on Russian side, I’m actually in the citizens’ side, because at the end of the day, the world is having a crisis right now,” she said. “This inflation not only in America, but everywhere in the world! It’s really hard to get the economy back up. There is so much shipments and embarkments backed up, China’s not really messing with us, so a lot of things are behind, a lot of goods are behind, and this shit just made it a lot more complicated, so I’m just really annoyed by this.”

After Cardi’s comments, U.S. President Joe Biden—who previously said he was “convinced” Putin has decided to invade Ukraine—called Putin’s move “the beginning of the Russian invasion” and announced sanctions on Russian oligarchs and banks, adding that “they share in the corrupt games of the Kremlin policies and should share in the pain as well.” As Biden announced, “you don’t need blood unless you plan on starting a war.” The Associated Press reports that the sanctions could mean “economic turmoil” for Russia.

“Who in the Lord’s name does Putin think gives him the right to declare new so-called countries on territory that belonged to his neighbors,” Biden asked during a press conference.
