It has been confirmed that Beyoncé will be performing at the 2022 Academy Awards set to take place this Sunday, March 27, alongside Billie Eilish, Finneas, and more.

As previously reported, the iconic singer/songwriter will be delivering a rendition of her track “Be Alive,” which is nominated for Best Original Song and included in the Reinaldo Marcus Green-directed film King Richard. It is still unclear, however, whether Bey will be performing the song live from Dolby Theatre at Ovation in Hollywood, or if it will be pre-taped as she sings from the tennis courts where Venus and Serena used to train in Compton.

Other fellow Best Original Song nominees that will be performing during the show are Sebastián Yatra delivering “Dos Oruguitas,” Billie Eilish and Finneas performing “No Time to Die,” and Reba McEntire singing “Somehow You Do.” Van Morrison was also nominated for his song “Down To Joy” from the film Belfast, but is unable to make it to the show.

If “Be Alive” were to win for Best Original Song on Sunday, it would be Beyoncé’s first Academy Award, bringing her that much closer to achieving EGOT status. The singer has been nominated for eight Emmys, won 28 Grammys, and has yet to be nominated for any Tony Awards. All in all, only 16 people have achieved EGOT status, including John Legend, Rita Moreno, Whoopi Goldberg, and Audrey Hepburn.

The 2022 Academy Awards are set to take place on March 27 live from Dolby Theatre at Ovation in Hollywood, starting at 8 p.m.
