Dreezy & Hit-Boy Connect For “They Not Ready” Single

After spending most of 2021 working with Nas on a pair of projects (King’s Disease 2 and MAGIC), producer Hit-Boy is now taking his talents to the Windy City.

The Grammy-winning beatsmith has connected with Chicago spitfire Dreezy for a collaborative album, Hitgirl. Set to drop on April 22, the pair have shared the project’s first single “They Not Ready.”

“I feel like we got to experiment with each other’s sounds and create something that’s different in the game right now. It’s cocky, it’s barred up, and the production is crazy!” Dreezy says about the project, “‘They Not Ready’ is the perfect song to get people hype for our collab project.”

Adds Hit-Boy, “People really aren’t ready for what me and Dreezy have in store. Hitgirl is the first full female rap album I produced. Stay tuned.”
