Toronto’s Nashid Chroma Auctions Art to Support POC and LGBTQ+ People in Ukraine

Toronto-based digital pop artist Nashid Chroma is blooming with good intentions.

On April 10, Nashid will host an online auction of his work to raise money for POC and LGBTQ+ people affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. 

His body of work is often inspired by people, colour, and nature. True to form, the auction will include a unique, limited series of 10 signed original artworks. The pieces feature Ukrainian floristic symbols, figures adorned in hallmark traditional folk patterns, and the colours of the Ukrainian flag. Prints will also be available. Peep here:

Black students evacuate Ukraine. The second is a campaign by All Out, a non-profit working with Ukrainian LGBTQ+ organizations to help LGBTQ+ people leave the country safely and provide assistance for those who cannot leave.

The auction will begin at midnight, April 9 and run for 24 hours until 11:59 April 10, at nashidchroma.com.
