Google PlayBrooklyn Beckham is officially a married man.
Brooklyn, the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, tied the knot with heiress Nicola Peltz on Saturday at her family’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida. The lavish ceremony took place at Montsorrel, an oceanfront mansion owned by Nicola’s billionaire father Nelson Peltz.
TMZ reports the black-tie affair featured a star-studded guest list that included Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen, Serena Williams, Eva Longoria, Gigi Hadid, Nicole Richie, and Gordon Ramsay, among others.
The couple got engaged back in July 2020. Peltz took to Instagram at the time to celebrate Beckham’s proposal, writing, “You’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby.”
Beckham and Peltz had originally planned to get married in 2021, before postponing their big day due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “If COVID wasn’t a thing we’d have liked to have been married already, and it has been a bit difficult,” Beckham said in an interview with Hello! last November.
During an interview with E! News in December 2020, Victoria didn’t shy away from praising her future daughter-in-law.
“He’s so happy, they’re both so happy,” she said. “She’s just wonderful. She’s sweet. She’s kind. She’s such a lovely, warm, wonderful, wonderful woman and we could not have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable, lovely lady.”
Victoria added, “For Brooklyn to have found his soulmate and the lady that he wants to spend the rest of his life with during this time where there’s been so much uncertainty and everything’s felt a little bit sad. So we’re very happy and very excited.”
