A Chick-fil-A restaurant in Tennessee has asked for the public’s help in retrieving their missing sign.

In Facebook and Instagram posts shared at the top of the week, a rep for a Chick-fil-A restaurant located in the Alcoa area shared a poultry prayer of sorts about the missing insignia. In it, the promise of a year’s worth of free food was made in connection with the sign’s preferably swift return.

“We need your help!” the post reads. “Our sign has disappeared and we need help to find it! Whoever turns it in will be asked no questions. We are awarding our finder Chick-fil-A for a year (52 digital offer cards) when the sign is returned.”

Amid the ensuing comments on the original Facebook post, which has since received national attention via pieces from the New York Post and elsewhere, were jokes about promptly joining the search party and a few speculative comments about recent storm damage having potentially resulted in the sign’s disappearance. At the time of this writing, the Alcoa-located restaurant had not shared a public update on the status of the search.
