The Man Without Fear is returning to the small screen.
According to Variety, Disney+ is developing a Daredevil TV series written and produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord. Though Marvel Studios has yet to formally announce the show, the move has been widely anticipated in the wake of multiple Daredevil character cameos in other MCU projects. Charlie Cox, who played Daredevil/Matt Murdock in the Netflix series, made an appearance in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home; while Vincent D’Onofrio simultaneously reprised his role as Kingpin/Wilson Fisk in Disney+’s Hawkeye.
Netflix pulled the plug on the original Daredevil series after three seasons in 2018. Variety reports the streaming giant’s contract included a clause that prohibited any Marvel-Netflix characters from appearing in projects by other studios. Under the agreement, Marvel could revive such characters two years after Netflix series were canceled.
