Rebel Wilson Comes Out on Social Media, Introduces Fans to New Girlfriend

Rebel Wilson has a new love in her life.

The 42-year-old actress took to Instagram on Thursday to introduce fans to her new girlfriend, Ramona Agruma—a fashion and jewelry designer based in Los Angeles. The post marked the first time Wilson publicly confirmed her same-sex relationship.

“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince…” she captioned the photo of her and Agruma, “but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess 💗🌈💗#loveislove.”

The Senior Year star teased her new romance in an interview with People magazine last month, saying she had met her partner “through a friend.”

“We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting. And that was a really good way to get to know each other,” she told the outlet at the time. “It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic.”

According to People, Wilson’s last relationship was with Jacob Busch, an heir to the Anheuser-Busch fortune. After the two reportedly called in quits in early 2021, Wilson spent some time working on herself and enjoying the single life; however, she remained optimistic about finding her perfect match. 

“I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it’s great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship,” she told People. “There were times — I’m not saying with all my exes, they’re great — but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn’t have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship.”

Wilson is currently filming The Almond and the Seahorse, an indie flick directed by Celyn Jones and co-starring Charlotte Gainsbourg.
