Actor Tyler Sanders, who appeared in series like 9-1-1: Lone Star and Fear the Walking Dead, died Thursday in his Los Angeles home. He was 18.

His agent, Pedro Tapia, confirmed the tragic news in a statement to Deadline, but declined to share details surrounding Sander’s death.

“Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future,” Tapia said, adding that authorities are investigating the case. “He comes from a wonderful family, and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”

Sources told TMZ officers arrived at Sanders’ residence Thursday morning after receiving a report about a male who wasn’t breathing. Authorities reportedly found the actor alone in the home and declared him deceased at the scene. Investigators say they’ve found no evidence of foul play or suspicious activity.

According to the LA County’s Medical Examiner-Coroner, Sanders’ cause of death is now “deferred, pending additional investigation.”

9-1-1: Lone Star star Rob Lowe expressed condolences to the Sanders family in a statement to FOX Digital.

“I’m saddened to hear about the passing of Tyler Sanders,” he said. “He was a wonderful actor to work with on 9-1-1 Lone Star and will be missed. My thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.”

Sanders reportedly started acting at 10 years old, and went on to land guest-starring roles ABC’s The Rookie and the Prime Video series Just Add Magic. He secured a more prominent role on the latter’s 2020 spinoff Just Add Magic: Mystery City, which earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Leo.
