It’s safe to assume that a new project from iyla is on the way. And, should it actually arrive, it appears to be focusing more on the “FNF” side of things.

Her first new offerings since 2020’s Other Ways To Vent project, the Los Angeles-bred songstress has already shared the singles “Sad B*tch Bad B*tch” and “2LATE.” She has now dropped a third, “FOH.” “While the song tells the story of me and my partner going eye for eye, the videos message lies in the battle of me vs. myself,” Iyla said to PAPER. “Life can be challenging and sometimes even when we find the strength to get back up we fall down again. Not everyone ‘wins’ all the time and finding peace in the dust allows us to the will to rise again. Powering through the struggle is what makes us grow new wings.”

I low-key feel bad for the person that set down this path, because it’s been extremely good music so far.
