Iman Shumpert Reportedly Arrested for Weed Possession

Iman Shumpert has reportedly been arrested on drug charges. 

According to a police report reviewed by TMZ, the 32-year-old NBA star was taken into custody while at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Authorities claim Shumpert was set to board a flight to Los Angeles when TSA discovered he had gone to the airport with a small plastic bag  with a “green leafy substance” inside. Shumpert allegedly admitted that the bag contained weed and was subsequently placed under arrest.

Authorities say they conducted a test and determined the substance was, in fact, 6.12 ounces of marijuana. Shumpert was then transported to the airport jail without incident.

TMZ reports he faces up to two years behind bars and a $10,000 fine.
