070 Shake – “Cocoon”

G.O.O.D. Music signee — and possible clone of the less melanated half of the DopeHouse (those rumors are unconfirmed, however) — 070 Shake released her sophomore album You Can’t Kill Me at the top of the summer 2022. The follow-up to her 2020 project Modus Vivendi, the project’s themes revolve around relationships, and its lovably wacky (read: sometimes fun, sometimes excruciating) aspects.

However, you wouldn’t necessarily know that was the case from her latest video/focus track, “Cocoon.” The song is a whole dance-inducing bop, and that bounce is on full display in the visual as Shake and several fans run wild through the streets enjoying the sun. I would join in, but the way my knees are set up these days…
