Marking his third time hosting the long-running series, Dave Chappelle was at the helm of this past weekend’s (Nov. 12) Saturday Night Live. This time around, he enlisted in the talents of both Black Star — the duo of Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli — and Madlib to be the show’s musical guests.

Performing tracks from their 2022 album No Fear of Time, Black Star (with Madlib on the turntables), Black Star’s set consisted of “So Be It” and “The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.”

Dave’s opening monologue featured him sharing words on Kanye West, the 2022 midterm elections, and more.
