Google PlayLast year, we brought you word of Fekky’s new venture, CC Foundation, and their drive to give kids in South East London greater access to technology via the UK’s first laptop library at the CC Foundation’s headquarters in Lewisham. The work hasn’t stopped since; the foundation has been working away on half-term education, training, winter coat drives and more.
Now, as Christmas approaches, Fekky’s aiming to repeat the success of last year’s Turkey Drive with a new partnership between CC Foundation and Subway who are donating £80,000 to the foundation that will help deliver 7,000 turkeys to communities across the UK and Ireland this winter. The drive kicks off on December 20 in London before going nationwide, stopping off at Birmingham, Cambridge, Sheffield, Manchester, Dublin, and Glasgow.
“We’re proud of how many communities we’ve been able to support in previous years, but for 2022, we’re going bigger with the help of Subway,” Fekky said in a statement. “We partner with brands who align with our ethos and the support that we’ve received from Subway means that we’ll be able to reach so many more families that are struggling this festive season.”
Angelina Gosal, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland at Subway, added: “We have a lot of admiration for what Fekky and the CC Foundation have been able to achieve over the past two years and we are delighted to be able to support them in expanding their annual Turkey Drive.
