Juggling family and work has been difficult for Nick Cannon.

The actor and host opened up about his family life in a new episode of Paramount+’s The Checkup with Dr. David Agus, where Cannon said, “Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children.” He continued, “One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin.”

Cannon currently has 11 children and is expecting his 12th with Abby De La Rosa. He shares 18-month-old twin sons Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Rosa as well.

His oldest kids are 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, whom he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He has three kids, Golden, Princess, and Rise with his ex, Brittany Bell, and a 5-month-old son Legendary Love with Brie Tiesi. He has another 3-month-old daughter, Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole. He is expecting a child with Alyssa Scott. The pair shared another child together, Zen, who died from brain cancer when he was 5 months old.

Earlier this month marked the one-year anniversary of Zen’s passing. Cannon paid tribute to his son with an Instagram post: “I can’t believe it’s been a year already since the toughest day of my life occurred,” Cannon wrote. “Such a painful anniversary. Losing a child has to be the heaviest, most dark, and depressive experience that I will never get over. A mixture of guilt, pain, and sorrow is what I suppress daily.”
