On Wednesday (Dec. 21), Allison Holker shared a heartbreaking Instagram post in which she remembered her late husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss. This marks her first social media upload on the platform since news broke that the SYTYCD alum died earlier this month.

“My ONE and ONLY Oh how my heart aches. We miss you so much,” Holker wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of her head resting on tWitch’s shoulder.

Fans quickly filled the comment section, offering words of encouragement to Holker in her time of grief. “I’m so sorry for your loss, unfortunately, there isn’t an emotion you are feeling that I’ve haven’t been through I lost my husband to suicide also God speed,” one comment reads.

Peopleconfirmed on Dec. 14 that the 40-year-old died of “a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.” His death occurred at a motel in the Encino area of Los Angeles, per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.

Holker also shared a statement with the outlet, remembering tWitch as someone with infectious energy. “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” Holker said.

“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

In addition to Holker, many celebrities have remembered tWitch following his tragic death. Ellen DeGeneres, who worked closely with tWitch during his time as a DJ for The Ellen Show, said she was “heartbroken” to learn the news.
