Finn Wolfhard Releases New Song “Pieces of Gold” as Ziggy Katz

Canadian actor and Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard has a music project alias called Ziggy Katz, and today he released “Pieces of Gold” with Emile Mosseri.

The song serves as the trailer song for upcoming A24 film When You Finish Saving the World starring Wolfhard and Julianne Moore.

It’s the second thing Wolfhard has released as Katz in 2023. He dropped introductory spoken word message “This Is Ziggy Katz” on streaming services as well.

“Katz refers to his style as ‘classic folk rock’ is quick to add that he ‘hates labels.’ The feeling seems to be mutual,” his humourous bio on Spotify says. It’s not Wolfhard’s first music project: he’s also been a member of Calpurnia and The Aubreys.

When You Finish Saving the World is scheduled to be released on Jan. 20. The upcoming fifth season of Stranger Things will be its last.
