Maxo Drops Sophomore Project, ‘Even God Has A Sense Of Humor’ Album

Celebrating his 28th birthday, SoCal-bread talent Maxo releases his latest offering Even God Has A Sense Of Humor.

The follow-up to his 2019 release Lil Big Man, Maxo shares a 14-track drop which speaks to the spiritual lessons that inspired this new project and an album process that has revealed to him the many ways in which he’s divinely protected. “Life is always gonna be life-ing,” Maxo says rather succintly.

Anchored by the single “48” the likes of Madlib, Pink Siifu, LastNameDavid, Madlib, GrayMatter, Karriem Riggins, Beat Butcha, and Lance Skiiiwalker are among the features. “I can’t really judge nothing,” Maxo says about the project’s recurring theme of acceptance of one’s life situations. “I can’t sit up and be mad at sh*t because everything is… kind of coexisting.”
