Slum Village Teams With Larry June, The Dramatics For “Just Like You” Single

After guesting on his and The Alchemist’s The Great Escape project, Larry June returns the favor and joins Slum Village on their first single of 2023, “Just Like You.”

Also guesting soul legends The Dramatics, the single serves as the first focus track from the group’s forthcoming ninth album (and their first in seven years). “It’s always us first figuring out the direction we want to go sonically and then just making music that feels good,” Young RJ said about the project to Revolt. “We’ve been locking in, and we’ll lock in for the next two or three months until we get it done. “There may be some Dilla on there. We have to see what makes the final cut.”
