NPR themselves said that this might be their best Tiny Desk Concert ever. And, you know what? They might be right.

The legendary Scarface — who was recently awarded the inaugural Hip-Hop Grandmaster Award from the newly launched Paid in Full Foundation, along with Rakim — took to the NPR mini-stage with a transcendent performance. Backed by fellow legend Mike Dean, performed a 30-minute set of some of his classic records from “Mary Jane” to “On My Block.”

Scarface’s classics and countless Rap-A-Lot records. Here, we get a rare glimpse of Scarface the conductor, bouncing through multiple eras of his catalog including “On My Block,” “Mary Jane” and the bone-chilling “I Seen a Man Die.” Trust, you’re going to want to watch this in its entirety.
