The Cool Kids are taking the OutKast route with their next project.

Officially dubbed Before Sh*t Got Weird, which doesn’t have a release date just yet, the Blog Era heroes will be packaging solo records in the style of Speakerboxxx / The Love Below with Chuck Inglish and Sir Mike hitting us with Chillout and Babyoil Staircase, respectively.

“Given the times, we spent the whole year pretty much working on a record and I realized that we’re breaking things down into individual moves and giving them [fans] songs showing our versatility,”Inglish told Chicago Sun Times. “We’re showing our solo growth and putting it all together in one big pot and doing something different by giving people a record right now.”

After kicking things off with Chuck’s “Driver” and Mike’s “Home Improvement” singles, the two are back at it with their latest single, “Dapper Dan Leather” featuring Harlem’s GDOTT.
