Jazmine Sullivan Finally Returns With ‘Heaux Tales’ Album

It’s been five years since Jazmine Sullivan wowed us with her Reality Show album. The effort spawned beautiful tracks like “Let It Burn” and “Forever Don’t Last” and now she’s back with a new batch of 14 tracks on her new album, Heaux Tales.

Led by “Lost One,” “Pick Up Your Feelings,” and “Girl Like Me,” Sullivan’s fourth album tackles the demeaning perception of women and the way they choose to present themselves. “Heaux Tales is about my observation of today’s women standing in their power and owning who they are,” she previously said in a statement.

With help from H.E.R., Ari Lennox, and Anderson .Paak, Sullivan’s project has arrived and I can confirm that she has not fallen off in any capacity.
