Wendy’s Partners With Kellogg to Release Limited-Edition Frosty Cereal

Wendy’s has partnered with Kellogg to turn its Frosty frozen dairy dessert, which was introduced all the way back in the 1969, into a cereal, CNN reports.

The limited-edition cereal is set to drop in December and will have a suggested retail price that will set you back $3.99. As an added bonus, people who buy a box of the cereal will get a coupon for a free Frosty from a Wendy’s location. Not bad.

Wendy’s Frosty Chocolatey Cereal will contain marshmallow pieces that a press release from the company said will “intermingle with crispy, cocoa-coated round cereal bites.”

It’s not the first time that Wendy’s has partnered with Kellogg. Earlier this year, the fast food restaurant chain linked with Pringles (which is owned by Kellogg) to create Spicy Chicken Sandwich-flavored chips. Prior to that, Wendy’s and Pringles dropped their Baconator chips, which according to a description from the company tastes like “half-pound of fresh, never frozen beef, American cheese, six strips of crispy Applewood smoked bacon, ketchup, and mayo.”
