Gal Gadot has once again addressed the accusations that Joss Whedon mistreated her on the set of Justice League.

“I was shocked by the way that he spoke to me,” Gadot said in a new interview with Elle magazine. “You’re dizzy because you can’t believe this was just said to you. And if he says it to me, then obviously he says it to many other people.” Whedon

Gadot has touched on her negative experience with Whedon before, opening up to Israeli outlet N12 that Whedon, “kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable.”

“I just did what I felt like I had to do,” she told Elle. “And it was to tell people that it’s not okay. I was shaking trees as soon as it happened, and I must say that the heads of Warner Bros, they took care of it.” Gadot’s co-star, Ray Fisher, has also made his own allegations about Whedon’s allegedly toxic behavior, adding to a list of a number of prominent stars from past Whedon projects such as Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

A Hollywood Reporter profile published last April featured information from a “knowledgeable source” that claimed Gadot spoke with Whedon about potentially making her Wonder Woman “more aggressive.” The source claimed that Gadot wanted to make “the character flow from one movie to the next,” but was eventually forced to say lines she wasn’t a fan of. “Joss was bragging that he’s had it out with Gal,” a witness on set told THR. “He told her he’s the writer and she’s going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie.”

Whedon, who has yet to direct a film since Justice League, has denied accusations of any wrongdoing.

As for Gadot, she seems to have put down her Wonder Woman whip away for the time being and next stars as a mischievous thief alongside The Rock and Ryan Reynolds in Netflix’s latest action thriller Red Notice.
