Cozz Returns With “Fortunate” Single

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Cozz, but the South Central-bred Dreamvillain is officially back in business with his new single, “Fortunate.”

A preview of what we’re assuming is an upcoming album, his first since 2018’s Effected, the song finds Cozz showing off a different side of his talents as leans on a more melodic approach to deliver his message.

“This is a new version of Cozz but also still me so I’m excited for y’all to hear my range as an artist,” Cozz says. “Fortunate to share this one with y’all. This is only the beginning and once this starts I ain’t stopping.”

Produced by Cedric Brown (with help from J. Cole, T-Minus, and Kurzweil), “Fortunate” was released with a matching visual that’s both somber and symbolic. Press play and get ready for the next chapter from Cozz.
