Angelina Jolie is currently doing her rounds of press interviews to promote her upcoming Marvel film Eternals, and while talking to E!’s Daily Pop, the actress dodged a question regarding her friendship with The Weeknd.
“I have to know, because Angelina your kids are at the age where they have opinions,” host Justin Sylvester asked. “So, I have to know. Were they more excited that you were in The Eternals, or that you are friends with The Weeknd?”
“They’re very excited about this film, if that’s what you’re asking,” Jolie answered. “They’re very excited about this film.”
This question was prompted by rumors that Jolie and The Weeknd are dating after they were spotted out together at a restaurant in L.A. last month.
The photos of the two together have fueled speculation that they might be romantically involved. According to the Daily Mail, they both arrived separately and spent nearly three hours at the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica that night. They were later seen leaving the restaurant together and reportedly entered a waiting black SUV together.
