Reebok has breathed new life into a community basketball court in the west end of Toronto through a bright, colourful, and significant revamp.
The brand partnered with the City of Toronto’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation team to identify a local community court in need of repair. MacGregor Playground’s court, near Lansdowne Ave. and College St., was carefully selected to receive the major refurbishment after extensive research with Ward 9 City Councillor Ana Bailão’s office. Through an in-kind donation by Reebok, the renovation was made with the aim of providing equitable access to physical activity for all, especially underserved youth.
Wrapping up the Nothin’ But Net program, Bosley installed the final two nets on the new and improved MacGregor Playground court, which is surprisingly his home court—a meaningful full circle moment.
The enhanced MacGregor Playground court is now open to the public.
