Google PlayA Memphis woman recorded a UFO in the sky and provided some very fitting commentary for what she saw.
A video obtained by TMZ, which was recorded on the night of Dec. 27 in Tennessee, shows multiple bright lights flying through the sky forming different shapes, like that of a line and a triangle. While it remains unclear what the bright lights were, the woman who recorded the clip was understandably confused.
“What is that, y’all,” she asks. “We finna die. Oh my god. What is that? Y’all what the fuck is that… It might be some more coming because they’ve been coming in streaks, what the fuck is that?”
In November, the Pentagon announced plans to launch a UFO/UAP-focused investigation group. The team is being referred to as an Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group, and is being established by the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security, per Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks.
The group, which is being created as more Americans believe UFOs are related to alien life, is set to be a successor to the Navy’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. It follows New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s UFO transparency amendment, which pushed for an office focused on such investigations, being featured in 2021’s National Defense Authorization Act.
“The United States needs a coordinated effort to take control and understand whether these aerial phenomena belong to a foreign government or something else altogether,” Gillibrand said in a statement. “I am proud to have worked alongside Congressman Gallego to include this amendment that will help remove the stigma surrounding UAPs, protect our nation, and keep those who serve safe.”
