Lori Loughlin is the latest celebrity to have their home targeted by burglars.

TMZ reports the Full House star and her husband Mossimo Giannulli’s Hollywood Hills home was burglarized on Jan. 3, with masked bandits allegedly swiping $1 million in jewelry while the couple was not home. The burglars, who smashed a bedroom window to gain entry into the home, were spotted by a housekeeper before making their getaway.

Representatives for Loughlin told TMZ that the actress is “thankful no one was hurt,” and that the recent death of her former Full House co-star Bob Saget has put the incident into perspective for her. “The family weren’t at home when the intruders broke in, but Lori still feels violated by what happened,” another source told Us Weekly. “It was a very emotional day for her.”

While details have not been released regarding any potential suspects, police “believe a South American burglary crew pulled off the heist.”

The news arrives just a week after Saget unexpectedly passed away at the age of 65. A source close to the investigation told TMZ the comedian passed away peacefully in his sleep. Saget was allegedly “tucked in bed” with the lights off in his room when hotel security discovered his body Sunday afternoon at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. The outlet adds that it was told the 65-year-old “had just gotten over COVID…but people close to him say he seemed fine in the days before he died.”

“Words cannot begin to express how devastated I am,” Loughlin said in a statement shortly after Saget’s death. “Bob was more than my friend, he was my family. I will miss his kind heart and quick wit. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful memories and laughter. I love you Bobby.”
