As promised, the long-awaited first trailer for Marvel’s Moon Knight series on Disney+ has arrived.
Starring Oscar Isaac as former U.S. Marine Marc Spector, who lives with dissociative identity disorder and becomes the titular superhero. Also starring is May Calamawy—who most recently showed up in the comedy Together Together and as Dena Hassan in Ramy—and Ethan Hawke.
The first trailer offers an intriguing look at Isaac as Moon Knight, a complex Marvel character who made his debut in the mid-’70s. It also offers a closer glimpse of Hawke’s character, who he previously revealed was inspired by David Koresh, the head of the Branch Davidians cult. The clip debuted during the Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams game on Monday.
Moon Knight is scheduled to arrive on March 30. The six-episode miniseries was developed by Jeremy Slater, while Egyptian director Mohamed Diab handles direction on four of the episodes. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the directing duo behind sci-fi horror The Endless, helmed the other two.
