Kim K Blasts Kanye for ‘Constant Attacks on Me’ Amid Criticism Over North West Being on TikTok

Kim Kardashian has issued a swift public response to the artist formerly known as Kanye West, who called out the SKIMS cofounder Friday morning for—in his words—their daughter North West “being put on TikTok against my will.”

In a statement shared via an Instagram Stories update, Kardashian argued Ye’s “constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media” are “actually more hurtful” than anything that might happen on TikTok.

“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision—because it brings her happiness,” Kardashian shared with her 284 million followers. “Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”

From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a health and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.

I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”

The @kimandnorth account on the ByteDance-owned platform currently boasts 5.5 million followers and routinely tops 20 million plays on individual uploads, with the highest-viewed clip nearing 50 million.

We’re now roughly a year removed from news that Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce from Ye, thus kicking off an extended media saga that included a surprise appearance from Kim as a key part of one of last year’s Donda performance art events.

Meanwhile, both a Donda sequel and a three-part Netflix documentary are on the horizon, both of which are set to arrive amid ongoing headlines of the Pete Davidson and Julia Fox variety.
