Watch the Teaser Trailer for ‘Ozark’ Season 4 Part 2, Debuting in April

Netflix’s popular crime drama series Ozark has kept fans captivated for five years, and now it’s preparing to reach its conclusion with the second half of Season 4, set to premiere on April 29.

The new teaser trailer for Ozark Season 4 Part 2 reveals how the show starring Jason Bateman, Julia Garner, and Laura Linney continues to get denser as more secrets are revealed in the final chapter. The first seven episodes of Season 4 were released on the streamer on Jan. 21.

Ozark showrunner Chris Mundy told Entertainment Weekly back in January that he and Bateman had talked about wanting to spit the final season into two parts when they first began filming so that they could remain “emotionally true” to the series.

“Jason has talked since the beginning about making sure we didn’t overstay our welcome,” the producer explained. “And because we’re so serialized, we needed to stay emotionally true and not feel like we’re just putting them in the same old situation again. So somewhere in the five season range felt right. If we went on anymore after that, we’d be vamping. But we also needed plenty of room to tell the story in a way that did it justice. So this was kind of the perfect middle ground; we had enough room to really do what we wanted and we had to be compact in our storytelling.”
