“How dare you sell a square fish, asking us to trust it?”
This question is among the playfully delivered jabs that together comprise the latest release from Pusha-T, i.e. his new offering with Arby’s. If the aforementioned lyrical excerpt didn’t make it clear enough, the collaborative endeavor here is indeed a diss track of sorts aimed at McDonald’s, home of the Filet-O-Fish.

The Pusha-T x Arby’s collab was first teased on social media in the days leading up to its Monday reveal, notably spurring a series of satirical sandwich suggestions. Of course, the collab also pairs interestingly with the Ye-featuring McDonald’s ad that debuted just last month.
With or without fast food feuds in tow, it’s a rewarding time to be a Pusha-T fan. This month alone, “Diet Coke” was given a snow-drenched Late Show update and Pusha connected with NIGO for the new single “Hear Me Clearly.”
In February, Complex News’ 360 With Speedy Morman shared a nearly 40-minute sit-down with the Daytona artist featuring some insight on his upcoming new album.
“At the end of the day, you know, what I make is masterpieces when it comes to, like, street hip-hop,” Pusha said when detailing the new album. “Nobody makes what I make when it comes to that. This particular album is half-produced by the Neptunes, half-produced by Kanye West. Nobody makes better music with those two entities than me, like, ever. And I’m gonna show you this time.”
A Jay-Z collab is expected to appear on the album’s final tracklist, with Pusha himself saying in a recent Million Dollaz Worth of Game interview that the two worked on “something from my new album” together.
