While James Harden’s current NBA team, The Philadelphia 76ers, preparing to take on the Miami Heat in the second round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs, Juicy J channels the bearded All-Star for his single “Step Back.”

The track features fellow Memphis native Duke Deuce, but I have so many questions about the video:

  1. Why is he portraying Brooklyn Nets-era James Harden?
  2. Why is he portraying Brooklyn Nets-era James Harden and not 76ers-era James Harden?
  3. Why is he portraying Brooklyn Nets-era James Harden and not 76ers-era James Harden, and not anybody on the Memphis Grizzlies… you know, his hometown team?

But, this is why I’m kinda-sorta writing about the track and not all on the song, or in the videos dancing…
