Google PlayTikTok has debuted a new three-part show, Oi TikTok, as part of its new #Rap campaign.
Supported by JD Sports, each show will feature interviews and performances from established and emerging artists, as well as comedy shorts. A long-standing champion of UK music, the retailer will bring their own ‘Crep-Cam’ to the show, along with their own crew of familiar faces.
The series is hosted by TikTok star Moyo and DJ Ellie Prohan, with the first set of special guests being SwitchOTR and Dreya Mac. Produced and co-created by industry heavyweights Out Since Tuesday, the debut episode will be followed by two further shows, all of which will be aired on Dréya’s TikTok channel.
With over 83.5 million views, the platform’s evergreen genre hashtag has become the place for music fans to discover the best artists, culture, accounts, content, and music. Initially fronted by Digga D and now Russ Millions, over the past few weeks, the likes of AJ Tracey, Aitch, Young Adz and Tia Carys have all joined in to celebrate all things rap on the platform.
